Isn’t Green Plumbing really a scam?
In a culture where “green” is the new buzzword, it seems like everything and everybody are now touting their “green-ness”. We believe that many so called green products and services are merely an effort to sell more, without offering any real benefit to the consumer. Green Hippo Plumbing does not deceive our customers about the benefits or downsides of any product in an effort to promote them or make a sale. There are many new products being developed for plumbing applications every day that do meet high efficiency standards without compromising performance. These innovative solutions are the heart of Green Plumbing, and what allow us to say “No, Green Plumbing is not a scam, provided you use a qualified and knowledgeable plumber such as Green Hippo.”
What are the dangers of “going green”?
Beware of charlatans – those who often coin phrases such as “Go green” or “Save the planet” yet have no training or product knowledge to support their claims to “green- ness”. Many high efficiency fixtures, such as tankless heaters, have received a bad reputation primarily due to improper installation by those who have not taken the time to educate themselves on the product. It is worthwhile to find a plumbing company that can properly install and service these exciting new technologies.
What is the goal of Green Plumbing?
